Web2App Ad Market Report: September 2026
In September 2026, web2app advertisers launched 1,301,372 new Meta ads — 11% fewer per day than in August — across 448 active brands. Fitness stayed the largest niche, and tai chi was the angle of the month: roughly one in five new ads sold a tai chi plan. Shopping, AI skills courses and men’s health grew, while diet apps cooled sharply.
September in five points
- Tai chi is the season’s angle. 21% of September ads sold tai chi in some form — walking, chair or “28-day” plans — across 23 advertisers. The month’s single biggest creative family is a WalkFit tai chi walking ad with 27k launches.
- AI skills courses surged. The AI & Tech Skills niche grew +46%. Most of the growth is Tixu.ai, which doubled its ad volume on “Master Claude for …” courses packaged for specific professions, such as “Master Claude for Nurses”.
- Men’s health keeps climbing. Men's Health grew +18% with only six advertisers; Kegel Men nearly doubled. Pelvic-floor training now sells to both men and women, with 12 advertisers running it.
- Diet apps cooled sharply. Nutrition & Diet fell −40%. Simple cut new ads by two thirds, and walking creatives lost half of their share.
- Two big advertisers went quiet. Liven, one of the summer’s largest mental-health advertisers, launched no new Meta ads in September; its main pages last started ads on 6 August. Relatio stopped as well.

Methodology
What we count
An ad is one Meta Ad Library ID, counted in the month it started running. We track web2app advertisers — subscription apps and courses that sell through web funnels — and group their ads by brand and niche. Ad volume shows testing intensity, not spend: Meta does not publish spend for commercial ads.
How creatives are grouped
Ads that reuse the same concept are grouped into a creative family. Each family is classified by topic and format from its video, image and text. 91% of September ads were matched to a creative family at publication time; shares of angles are calculated over those ads.
Limits
Meta only; Google and TikTok ads are not included in this edition. Month-over-month changes compare September with August under the same collection rules. Brands we do not track are not in the totals.
